Have you been back in touch with Emma? Perhaps she can help find out when was the last time anybody spoke to him. I am sure she will be devastated.
So we were right about Malham being linked to Blackmoor. It looks like it was him that was watching you and Matt. But somebody was obviously watching him, at the same time.
I think you need to get back in touch with Blackmoor and find out who had employed Malham, what he was doing in Peru and why he was watching you. I think now that there is another victim, they really cannot refuse the information.

Please please be careful. They could have still been there (I don’t really think he killed himself, it seems as though murder as suicide is the MO of your killer(s)). Maybe the police can provide you with some kind of protection.
Calamine lotion is to calm things such as insect bites, sunburn etc. which seems to confirm he was abroad (no mossies or sun around in this country at the moment).

Idea…
Malham was watching you to protect you - he was working for Blackmoor and had been hired by Markus.
These people found out about it and killed him.
Sound plausible?

Alex, it’s a really good thought. I guess Tilly’s latest findings suggest that Malham’s probably a bad’un, though. Shame - I do like to see the best in people *halo* : )
