Bored bored boredy bored. Everyone’s either already back or getting ready to go back to uni so soon I’ll be back to the thrilling rollercoaster ride of my day to day existence.
Ach ignore me. I’m just feeling a bit post-Christmassy. I’m gutted that everyone’s going back to uni, but I’ve got a really sound group of mates from work and we always meet up if we have the same night off, so it’s not as if I’m a social recluse, sitting at home surrounded by junk and stroking my many cats. Yet.
Actually I’m thinking of looking for a new job. I’m doing OK at saving up, and I always put tips straight into the bank, but waitressing doesn’t pay much and it isn’t exactly taxing on the brain. I feel like I’m going a bit mad – I need something to think about. We’ll see. It could be a lot worse.
I definitely won’t pack it in without another job to go to. Give me another few months, Bicks, and I might (*might*) be able to join you in Oz for the summer (well, winter)! Something to look forward to! Glass half full, see.
