Festiveness already

I’m baaack! It’s 10.41am and I’m writing this in a cafe, enjoying a bacon sandwich and cup of tea before getting my Christmas shopping out of the way. See, there are benefits to having no life. And it is a bloody gorgeous bacon sandwich. Just enough brown sauce.
Can’t WAIT till you’re home for Christmas, uni friends (and gonna miss you so much, Bicks and Em).
Apart from seeing you lot I could do without Christmas, especially at work. Posh people = bad. Posh, drunk people on a works Christmas dinner = very bad indeed. Although drunk people are always good for tips, so it’s probably not all doom and gloom. At least we’re not the kind of place where the waiting staff wear comedy Santa hats and tinsel earrings. Thank god.
Anyway, best get on with it.
Hope you’re all having an amazing time wherever you are.
Sigh.

Obamarama

Reality is not what it used to be, as the great man said. Obama is president! Bloody hell! Feels all exciting and important, don’t you think? Even li’l old totally-not-into-politics me got fired up watching the news this morning.
In other news, I got a grand total of £2.73 in tips last night: rich people are officially tight. And… urr, what else can I tell you? Oh yeah I’m going to the Roundhay Park fireworks tonight. Should be a laugh. And on Saturday I’m going to a horror movie thing at the Film Festival. Busy busy busy!
Snogs to you all, my far-flung friends. Xxx
